For the 2019 festive period Hackett London hosted nine daytime Christmas shopping events in selected stores across London, Edinburgh, Germany and Spain to bring the Christmas atmosphere in-store. For the global events’ deliveries I had full responsibility for the creative arrangement and execution and liaised with various suppliers to bring the events to life. The events included a Christmas choir dressed in Hackett, branded cake pops, branded hot chocolate cups and champagne.
The events were open to all and served to drive traffic to the stores and capitalised on organic footfall in the lead-up to the holidays. The initiative rewarded Hackett’s loyalty club (65B) members while also capturing new clients and reinforced the emotional bond with the brand. Organic social posts and retail partner’s communications supported the events.
Furthermore the events were used to promote the Christmas raffle and increase 65B acquisition rate and had significant positive impact on the traffic, sales and ATV across the participating stores. The events were very well received by customers and their feedback was overall very positive.
